A unique feature of the CSUN alignment with TWC is the year-to-year integrative process guiding students' participation in the project's life. Commencing 2026-2027, the program's development has called for a clinically focused training internship.
The practicum internship service program will be staffed by second-year social work interns and supervised by a licensed clinical social worker.
One (or more) second-year Master of Social Work students will be selected each year to complete their graduation Practicum Internship obligations with TWC. Second-year student interns from the Stateside (campus-based) and Online MSW programs are eligible to apply.
To date, efforts have been established by Elijah Salazar Reyes, MSW, Andrea Godoy, ACSW, PhD Student, Constanza Perez Romero, B.A., and Nohely Fernandez, B.A.

Elijah and Andrea interned at TWC for the 2023-2024 academic year. Their foundational research resulted in the first and second reports. Due to their efforts, they were awarded TWC Fellowships. Elijah is a paid consultant for TWC, and Andrea is the Assistant Administrator at TWC.

Constanza interned at TWC for the 2024–2025 academic year. She developed the Greater Northridge Community Questionnaire, which has been distributed through Qualtrics, an online survey and data collection platform. She was hired as a paid consultant for Summer 2025 to analyze the findings of the Greater Northridge Community Questionnaire.

Nohely is the current intern for the 2025-2026 academic year. She was hired as a paid consultant for Summer 2025 to analyze the findings of the Greater Northridge Community Questionnaire. Currently, she is receiving foundational clinical training.
